I searched high and low on the internet for what I felt like was the most sustainability-focused journal to use for a bullet journal, and I landed on Dingbats. The notebook is just as expected, and I have no complaints. The shipping was even a bit faster than I expected. I will say that the packaging had more plastic than I would expect or hope for from a company that makes sustainability claims, so I would like to see some rethinking of the packaging if possible, such as using easily recyclable (and recycled) Kraft paper-type protection for the journals inside the box (or inside a Kraft paper padded mailer).
Inside and out, the Dingbats journals are top quality, durable and make writing that much more a joy
I started my PhD this year and decided to grab a smaller notebook for each class. The earth collection of Dingbats are PERFECT for this. The marks on the edge of each page makes it easy for me to mark if something is writing reflections, reading related notes, class discussions and more! I am so happy I made these purchases and highly recommend!
I love the coated pages, my pens write so smoothly
And they keep getting better with new features! The Glicine Arctic Journal has tab and index pages and a double ribbon which my last one did not. They sit flat, have thick paper, and no bleeding through. Love the “feel” of them and wouldn’t use anything else.
