An ex got me the blue whaler journal two years ago and I started using it as my regular journal. Since then, I've purchased two other journals. I write every week, and it's a great way to keep my journals together and easily identifiable by year. I love unlined paper, it's great for doodles and notes.
I have been buying Dingbats journals for a few years now. The quality of the paper and the binding are both first-rate, so the journals lend themselves well to creative journalling, using various media, though there will be some bleed through with some marker pens. The company's ethos is another plus, and their service has always been excellent.
I've been using Dingbats for my yearly planner for the last 3 years. This year I decided to try a different company and style...I hated it! I had to come back to Dingbats and am so happy I did. Dingbats for life!
I've used Dingbats notebooks since 2018, and I've never been disappointed.
The quality is amazing, it's just as promised : 100gsm cream paper, perfect for journaling. But you won't be able to use every medium on it. Watercolour or markers will bleed through, which is expected for that type of paper.
I use notebooks daily for work and journaling. I used Moleskine notebooks for the better part of a decade, but when I started using fountain pens I had to find a better notebook. Dingbats makes the best notebooks out there. The paper is very high quality, I've never had a bleed through, and I love the subtle animal imprints. I recommend these notebooks every chance I get.
